The Reformation movement sought a different approach. Rather than "reform" the catholic church, just simply start with the bible and go from there. I am a member of the church of Christ (Rom. 16:16), I identify only as "Christian" (Acts 11:26) and I reject all human creeds and doctrines that cannot be supported by a essentially literal translation of scripture.

Ephesians 2:8 specifically calls faith a gift, which when coupled with Romans 3:12, which states that everyone has turned away from God and are incapable of wanting anything to do with him, means that nobody can even begin to have faith.

I have decided to go full autism and make my own denomination. A major reason for this is that every denomination contains a corrosive and corrupt element that can not be separated from the main body, hence we must abandon those bodies and construct a new one.
