Im not claiming that was the case, the plane crash its self is enough to weaken steel in the fires immediate radius. This cuased a domino like collapse once those specific floors gave way. Any heat in the resulting rubble is explained by the kinetic release.


The real question is why they collapse under the weight of the top floors. nobody is claiming that the heat spread down, once it starts to fall its a question of kinetic energy not thermic.
