Honestly lads, if you think things are bad now then you wait and see what happens if labour is strong.

A strong Tory majority will allow a much harder agenda to be pushed through. The wets won't be as effective as they are now.

Sometimes the voice actor is great (Stephen Fry's Harry Potter), but then sometimes the material is sufficiently complex (any Econ book) that you kind of need to glance back and forth, or read it slower.

Gen Y desperately needs a movement of realism: that money matters, that liberal arts degrees are memes, that careers have workplace politics, that they can't rely on social welfare to protect them, that they need to save cash reserves for their childrens' futures so their kids aren't at the whim of the system the way Gen Y has been, that they need to acquire assets and stop buying thrill shit like phone upgrades. It's the only way they'll take over from the boomers who still own all the wealth and assets.

This kind of movement can only come from the right and centre-right. The left will object to the ruthlessness of this, want everything to be "nice" and keep telling young people to be prancing snowflakes and to vounteer their time away.

Millennials are too busy deciding if they're globalist progressives or nationalists. The right have been successfully redpilling about feminists an sjws for some time now but....

The left are the only ones to backlash against the economic question with Occupy but that was for egalitarian, entitled "gibmedats".

The right haven't backlashed yet. This would be characterised by mass redpilling about boomers' control of the wealth but without entitleism. It would redpill millennials on all the issues in the opening paragraph. Rather than "feminist BTFO" videos on youtube all day it'd be info videos on how the boomers still have the millennials on leashes, for example.

Is it coming like the alt-right happened?

Makes sense, creates an average of lots of polls and yeah I remember brexit and trump were very erratic, both times though it was often the conservative sides not wanting to give their opinion because of the shitstorm it produces and would rather just vote in private. I can't help but think it'll be the same here.

You're very right. The wealth inequality in our country by generation is massive and outstrips everything else, and also links to everything else.

Income inequality is largely due to more boomer men earning more than boomer women (as more work).

Boomers are more ethnically homogenous, causing racial inequality.

May's pledge to cut the triple lock, fuel allowances and address the intergenerational inequality won my vote desu. We need to stop giving money to the elderly in such huge amounts.

Also, introduce private insurance over national insurance.

The elderly are wealthier than us and get our NI money going to their healthcare and pensions.

We won't get those pensions due to their unsustainability and we would pay a tiny amount if we had private healthcare (quotes put me on £40 a month fully covered compared to £250 a month NI)

Why would a people's party be tied to fucking Marxism which destroys everything the people love?
No political party is worth voting for - I vote we work something else out then punish them with finality as a warning to future generations not to do the same thing.
Jo Cox is the best politician lately - this year only. Before this year she was a piece of shit.

Depends whether you think you can 100% trust the Tories on a clean Brexit or whether you think there will be some backsliding. UKIP are the only party to 100% want proper Brexit; obviously never going to get in but numbers are still important, especially if those numbers yield seats in the Commons (and Lords). UKIP's 4 million voters in 2015 were obviously important for keeping Brexit relevant; we've not left the EU yet, and wont for another 2 years

I love when alt-righties show their true colours. Your entire political ideology is based on wanting to annoy the popular girls, isn't it?

>unions would be irrelevant as employers would have to compete for employees

Hmm.

Mass immigration ruined workers' rights, as employers no longer have to fight to get employees.
>>
>>126495333
China still has massive problems though. One child policy led to a shortage of workers and rapidly aging population.

Personal debt is ludicrous. Their economy is so dependant upon exports they'd crash if we stopped buying their shit bc they lack a sufficient domestic market.
>>
>>126494389

That was caused by Jim Callaghan trying to buy British coal when Chinese coal was so much cheaper, Thatcher just went ahead and bought the Chinese coal instead.

British workers were just too expensive, why on earth would a miner join a union that lost him his job? If you worked as a miner, you'd expect to get paid enough to make a living. When you have a high cost of living and low wages, your union will demand higher wages.

This is all pretty simple stuff.

>So of the 800 arrested
897 is 800?

>In London, 238 arrested included two for rape, three for death threats and seven for sex offences.
That's the minimum just *for London*.

No shit, and its the Tories who have been pushing immigration to invite businesses.

Not saying China is a utopia, Just using it as an example of natural market forces taking hold despite government regulations.

I'm a Tory lad. Not alt right. I don't want to annoy popular girls at all. SJWs aren't even popular. I just want people with wrong opinions to be shown that they can't win by calling everybody fascists.

And why were British workers so expensive?

Unions.

You're right. It is simple. We're both right.

>why on earth would a miner join a union that lost him his job?

Socialists are dumb

Is the Hitchens extract from Hitch-22? Christopher's voice is incredibly soothing. Highly recommend Peters audiobooks too, he does them himself and they are good.

I was planning on voting Conservative until I saw that my local candidate is focused primarily on "social justice". I'll either vote UKIP or just sit this one out.

It's not like either of them have a chance in hell of winning in Glasgow anyway.

They don't come undone or loosen up during the day

He needed to look sharp at all times as his speeches wouldn't have had the same effect if he looked dishevelled
>>
>>126496208
Figure out what they meant by social justice first.

May is focused on class inequality above all. That's fair enough. She gave a particular mention to white working class boys as disadvantaged, which makes sense. Especially in deindustrialised areas.

>897 is 800?
sorry, 1.003%

>That's the minimum just *for London*.
So 3.78%

I have no idea what the total number of Syrians in the UK is, and neither does the government.
"Right now there are 30,000 Syrian refugees in Germany, there's about 4,500 in Sweden and do you know how many there are in Britain right now... in this country we only have 180 Syrian refugees under David Cameron's programme."—Fraser Nelson, BBC Question Time, 25 June 2015

"No, I heard it was 4,000 to 5000."—Amber Rudd MP

"It's 187."—Fraser Nelson

Even if the unions didn't exist they'd still need to be paid, which operators couldn't do.

Who gives a fuck. This "nation" is fucked anyway, I'd rather spit one last ooze of alcohol-laden bile in the eye of the government that killed it before fucking off to Japan. i don't care what happens at this point, we should just fire a nuke 180 into the air end this pathetic isle.

I know a security guard who wants to unionise, tried to explain it too him, especially with the dole offering free SIA licences, but he's a scouser.
