That's almost the exact same identical principle. What made Rome, which this board worships so hard powerful was its "globalism". It was one culture spread out among hundreds of nations and tribes.

It unironically created made the Roman world far more peaceful than it would have been.

It's easy to point out what wars Rome got involved in, but no one ever takes account in history how many more smaller conflicts would have resulted in almost the same if not far more carnage if it were not for a supreme power watching over it's domain. It's the same principle with the United States.

look up Jordan Peterson. He's a psychology prof who hit world news for opposing thoughtcrime/speech legislation in Canada. He also had undergrad lectures posted online and he blew up/became very famous last/this year since the news thing. That's how I heard of him.

Highly recommend him. He made me respect and value Christianity/religion a lot more. He's a meme man on here but he's seriously legit. A lot of what he said personally helped me. He's one of those rare wise people, I don't know how else to explain it. He's totally changed my life and watching his lectures
