I think it is fair to assume that in this election the Conservatives will win in England and the SNP will win in Scotland, and given that voting SNP is seen as the protest vote of choice for people who are dissatisfied with brexit, and that brexit will be an incredibly drawn out affair, I would say it is also likely that the SNP might win the GE after this one. So there probably will be another referendum on Scottish independence, how likely do you think that they will go through with it given that they, by that time will have had to endure brexit and Tory rule?

Also does anyone know where rightly so went?

Can someone red pill me on Mosley's "pan European identity".
Does this mean he would have been pro-EU or is that naive to think (considering he was vehemently against free trade)?
Regardless, it works as a pretty convincing pro-EU argument.

Would any party ever be brave enough to remove some greenbelt around cities (maybe just a mile or two around each one)? The population is continually going up, we already live in some of the smallest homes in the world, the only solution if you don't reduce greenbelt or stop immigration seems to be sticking everyone in tower blocks.
>>
>>126241534
Boomers have fucked us though, just not for the meme reasons most normies go on about.
They've bought into a pyramid scheme which required ever increasing numbers of immigrants to fund their pensions and medical expenses. They don't care if it destroys the country because they'll be dead in 30 years and won't live to see the worst of the collapse.

We have plenty of homes, one for every 2.6 people (of all ages). The issue is that the investment bubble is making it more cost effective for some people to just leave them empty. There's 200,000 houses, for example, that are totally empty all year. This is without even mentioning holiday homes.

TL;DR: We have the homes. The problem is that no one can live in them.

All I would say is that if it's anything like the Australian Army it's not as easy as you might think to get it. They're not after any old dropkick who can hold a gun, you have pass multiple stages of tests and be in the top bracket of all the people who tried to sign up in that particular period, even if you just want to be an infantryman.
It's easy to get into reserves though.

>May's manifesto also raises concerns about online news, warning it is willing to "take steps to protect the reliability and objectivity of information that is essential to our democracy", while pledging to "ensure content creators are appropriately rewarded for the content they make available online".

>One Tory source told BuzzFeed News this final comment relates to Google and Facebook's growing dominance of the advertising market, which the newspaper industry believes is crushing its business model. The source suggested that if the web giants failed to act voluntarily then they could be forced by legislation to find ways to financially compensate traditional news producers.

I agree, but let me give you an example, one time someone posted a thread asking why there weren't any serial killers anymore. Then it changed to how you would go about it in a surveillance state, chemicals, etc. This may have been a tad morbid but it was interesting and had 300+ posts.

I do find that most posts are the same though, and are just the same as yesterdays posts with the same cut and paste answers. I find this true in this thread sometimes.

The Conservative government have been short-changing the tax-payer after selling off billions of pounds worth of public assets.

New data compiled by the Press Association shows that the Great British Sell-Off has surpassed a previous high of £20bn set by the Thatcher government in the 1980s.

Here are seven public assets the Government has privatised in the last year alone:

1. Constructionline - database sold to Capita for £35m

2. Greencoat UK Wind - a green investment fund, sold for £51.2m

3. Eurostar - 40 per cent stake sold for £757.1m

4. Royal Mail - the remaining 30 per cent stake was sold for £1.3bn

5. Royal Bank of Scotland - a 5.4 per cent stake worth £2.1bn

6. Northern Rock mortgage assets - £13bn

7. Lloyds - £9.1bn in shares

Finally, a Tory actually being held to fucking account. A shame no other journalists have the backbone to actually hold these liars to account. This is finally a good analysis of substance on policy and the Tories are found wanting. They have no detail on anything, none of their policies are costed and they're still 'consulting' despite 7 years in Government. What a great interview this is to show that when you dig deep enough you find so much lacking on policy and just words and aims. If journalists are doing their jobs properly there should be many more questions like these. Unfortunately though, they bought the journalists when they went to have a meeting with Murdoch just after the referendum.

The Tories have sold the final public stake in Royal Mail to City fatcats - a week after Jeremy Corbyn told an 8,000-strong rally it should be saved.

Last night's £591million firesale went entirely to 'institutional investors', which typically include banks, pension schemes, insurance firms and hedge funds.

It was the last stake in Royal Mail to be sold off in a controversial privatisation that has poured £3.3billion into Treasury coffers.

Business secretary Sajid Javid boasted today was a 'a truly historic day for Royal Mail with the workers gaining a share of this history'.

But the 455p share price, which reflects the current market rate, is well below the 500p the government earned just four months ago.

How does fracking affect the environment?
Other Environmental Concerns. In addition to air and water pollution, fracking also increases the potential for oil spills, which can harm the soil and surrounding vegetation. Fracking may cause earthquakes due to the high pressure used to extract oil and gas from rock and the storage of excess wastewater on site.19 Jan 2015

40,000: gallons of chemicals used for each fracturing site
8 million: number of gallons of water used per fracking
600: number of chemicals used in the fracking fluid, including known carcinogens and toxins such as lead, benzene, uranium, radium, methanol, mercury, hydrochloric acid, ethylene glycol and formaldehyde
10,000: number of feet into the ground that the fracking fluid is injected through a drilled pipeline
1.1 million: number of active gas wells in the United States
72 trillion: gallons of water needed to run current gas wells
360 billion: gallons of chemicals needed to run current gas wells
300,000: number of barrel of natural gas produced a day from fracking

I see Lib Dems are trying the Canadian campaign tactic of promising to legalise weed. It won't happen; just like it didn't in Canada.

Legal Highs was the worst ban ever. I don't give a shit about them and have never taken them, but the ban is completely blanket and nebulous, technically, taking caffeine is a Class-B drug. This is how stupid it is. It ruins loads of research because they can't test the drugs without loads of legal shit.

Spice is popular; don't fucking ban it, all it's done is making loads of drug dealers richer.

>Health Effects of Fracking:
A 2011 article in the journal, Human and Ecological Risk Assessment, examined the potential health impacts of oil and gas drilling in relation to the chemicals used during drilling, fracking, processing, and delivery of natural gas. The paper compiled a list of 632 chemicals (an incomplete list due to trade secrecy exemptions) identified from drilling operations throughout the U.S. Their research found that 75% of the chemicals could affect the skin, eyes, and other sensory organs, and the respiratory and gastrointestinal systems. Approximately 40–50% could affect the brain/nervous system, immune and cardiovascular systems, and the kidneys; 37% could affect the endocrine system; and 25% could cause cancer and mutations.

None whatsoever. Southern Africa is for being a multi racial success story for several decades now

Another time, friend. It is already past my bedtime and I will get moaned at when I crawl into bed. Ask me on Sunday. I will be back then with many tales to tell.

I have no idea if this is sarcastic or not.

Brit/pol/ would hate it if Labour did it but because MUMMY MAY is doing it, they're fine with it. Pathetic.

Where's a good place to buy a KJV 1611 Bible?
>>
>>126255609
This is a very strange concept to me.

Is it obvious? It seems like it is. The government has made up it's mind and I don't think anything can really stop them. The people aren't allowed to vote on it or anything.
Regardless, I really just want to know what the people who desire it think.
