Sure, civil war memorial statues might make some people uncomfortable, but tearing it down, to me, is like denying that the stuff the memorials represent even happened in the first place, which is a real injustice and a shame.

To me, it's better to learn why the memorials make you feel uncomfortable, and the history behind them, than to remove them.
