Based on what I've read, I have amphetamine psychosis. I go months without smoking meth, and still feel great. I haven't smoked any in weeks, and I'm in a new area with no sources. as a drug user I have to say I think it's increasing. Then again people say Gen Z is more conservative so maybe they aren't doing as much drugs. But among millenials, I think drug use is higher than it ever was during the 60s or 70s.

I hang out with a variety of people from different social strata. Just about everyone smokes weed. Some people don't, but they are always the exception, not the rule. Marijuana use is as common as beer among 18-30 year olds. Cocaine is also very popular right now. I've been to parties of non druggies (people with stable relationships and good jobs) and just about everyone is doing cocaine.

Other drugs like Heroin and stuff ravage the northeast and for whatever reason are region specific.

And the people I hang with are the normal casual drug users. There's plenty of meth out there and harder stuff too. I think drugs are at critical mass of usage now. Maybe it's just that I'm older and know where to get anything, but they seem way more prevalent than they were 5 or 10 years ago. Granted I'm in my mid twenties, so some of that is age, but it's pretty remarkable.

I don't know a single person without one vice. I know people who drink alcohol only and do no other drugs. I know people that just smoke weed and don't even drink that much. I know some people who only drink and do coke etc. But I don't know anyone who does nothing, except for this incredibly nerdy cuck at the last place I worked.
