NYer here what is this culture you speak of? Any rep NY got was mainly from the 70's/80's and that is long gone. It still blows my mind how little regard my dad had for his family raising us here although I was too young to remember it.

Any culture or art it has left will very quickly be removed in 5-10 years. It's absurd how many Indians are here now due to the financial districts.
