Is it possible to be a radical centrist?
>>115120466
Nah, just bogpilled ascended centrist.
>>115120466
Yes, that is the definition of a National Socialist.
A national socialist.
>>115120466
yes, but that means you have to deal with radicals from both sides,
no, it just means you don't hold any true convictions
>>115121269
What if your ideology is a mix of both left and right policies?
How the fuck can you be a radical centralist?
>"Holy shit guys I'm so fucking neutral right now"
>>115120466
No, it's a contradiction.
>>115120466
'' I have no feeling on the subject one way on the other. Tell my wife 'Hello'. Engage the beige alert.''
>>115120466
>>115120466
You can be radical in the sense of being autoritharian or libertarian. Yes.
>>115120466
Centralist normally means anyone that goes along with the status quo and supports whatever the dominate mainstream political ideology (currently liberalism). Then they hide their general ignorance of politics by dissociating themselves with extremist they share their political views with by associating them with any proponent of the other side, whether that be extremist or moderate, to pretend they hold they moral and intellectual superiority to both sides.
>don't care about fag marriage but has negative opinion of it
>liberals become the dominate political force in America
>left legalizes homo unions
>adopts a live and let live position on gay marriage
>left pushes even further on political grounds
>right tries to push back and recriminalize it based on moral and practical grounds
>centrist (left) stands in the middle and calls both sides idiots until one side manages to successfully move the overton window in their direction

it would presume being in the "center" of something
both "left" and "right" are contradefined by each other, but "centrism" is contradefined by both
in other words: it's even less of an ethos than "left" or "right" (neither of which is a terribly good descriptor by itself)
best to define policy/philosophy views in an absolute sense, rather than by comparison to others
