If you don't work for Starbucks they will find someone else (immigrants yay!!). You don't have the capital to set up competition and pay more because investors want to see a return on their investment. So the companies squeeze it from potential wages.

These companies also have a greater relationship with town planners and the government in general and so get preferential treatment as they are "too big to fail"

Most people would benifit from 1 full year of NEETism. If for nothing else, it kind of crushes your pretensions and any hubris. But in that you find dignity and prudence, when you learn how to build yourself in terms of accomplishment and what material you're willing to work for.

The problem is that most NEETs don't ever do the latter. They put it off for tomorrow. They don't explore the depth of western concepts/philosophy, and piss away their time on vidya and porn. So they shill for the autistian UBI, or some other antisocial legislation that will end in nothing good. Or they try to make social media posts that sound profound and edgy.
