They are a webhosting service. They are the only service around that is both affordable and reliable, which is beyond suspicious when you conside how competitive the industry was before they came on the scene.
They also host every site on the internet (more or less) devoted to frew speech.
I can share my larger theory on them if you stick around a few minutes.

The same thing captcha does, spies on us and records everything we do.
I'm not a hateful nazi so I'm not stressed about it. It is still wrong however.

Their DDOS protection service malfunctioned and resulted in all Cloudflare sites using the system going offline. /pol/ thought it was because of aliens or some shit
Every Cloudflare site sent out updates to users regarding the outage

Sorry in advance for my spelling errors, 2nd day detoxing from caffiene/nicotine here
If you do some basic searches for CF, you'll quickly find that they have an interesting history. Their startup was first called "project honeypot" and were devoted to tracking users based on posting patterns. Proj honeypot was started in Utah, litterally in eyeshot of the NSA super data-collection center located in utah county, created under US project stellar wind.
The prime concern with CF from my standpoint is that every alt-media outlet basically uses their service. Over time DDoS attacks have forced all these outlets over to CF, out of financial nessesity.
All this sets up the board for what is basically the biggest datamining op in history, and will all the eggs in one basket, shut down CF, you shut down the free Internet until owners of websotes can rehost.
Its also worth noting that CF hosts several ISIS websites, non-deep web illegal market places, ect. This is all that is needed for the govt to shut them down for good, leading to a black out that could only be rivaled by a litteral shutdown of internet infrastructure.

thanks and checked

CF came out of nowhere, and within a few months was competition for all the big players. Its my opinion that you do not make it into that industry without the gatekeepers approval.
Thats all the stuff that I can regurgitate by memory, but I found all that and more by starting at their wikipedia page and searching key terms.
The wikipedia page also lists many of CF's funders, and they have google, roths, and rockafeller money in their corner.
Happy digging, Im relitively certain that CF leads directly back to NSA and deep state powers, but Ive only found strong circumstantial evidence thus far.

It's very related. It's the reason you've heard a lot about it lately.
Cloudfare are pretty cool, they provide their services to ISIS and aren't afraid of nuthin
