Why not ask him to show you were their religion says child marriage is a sin? He doesnt want proof from you. He wants deniability for him. he doesnt want to see it so tell him to see if he can prove you are wrong. That is a reward mechanism for his brain. And we know he can not prove you wrong but he can end up educating himself. He will only believe himself.
