For at least 50 years, the US will have to be somewhat isolationist. But it's people will be the most free people the worled has ever known. And eventually, trade will resume.

Also, there's the possiblity that other sovereign nations will follow suit once they see that telling your creditors to get fucked actually works; that they are merey paper tigers who presume to rule over the people of the world by fiat alone.
