Crystalline aspirin is somewhat of a powdery crystal. You can tell the difference just based on looks.

They could test specifically for aspirin incidentally. Adding a little bit of ethanol and iron trichloride would turn the solution a yellow colour if aspirin is present.

You're missing the point, your plan isn't going to work when they run tests on the aspirin. Then you'd just be throwing valuable tax dollars down the drain on expensive testing kits and chemicals

Aspirin isn't really that soluble in water anyways. Heating it won't help much. What would you gain from trying to add water to it. Also yes, drugs vary in appearance. That's what I stated in my post. If you're talking about the same drug looking different then that's more so just sad. If you have cocaine that doesn't look like cocaine then you have some pretty stepped on shit.

Hopefully they would catch on and start testing specifically for aspirin. Iron tri chloride and ethanol are dirt cheap. You only need a drop of each and a 10 mg sample.

Plus everyone that does this would have to commit a crime to have a run-in with the police. You'd just be getting people charged and/or thrown in jail over some petty movement about "Muh drug laws"

Drugs laws are the only thing that lets us get ahead in this kiked out world. And if you are scared to get busted with personal amounts maybe you should just learn to shove it up your ass when you get pulled over.
