What the god damn hell is this, /pol/? I'm taking my college class currently and I'm revising other people's essays. In a class of like 30 people, I've gone through a little over a dozen now of people writing about moments their mothers were abused by their fathers. These are all people ranging from 18-24.
Why are there so many people writing about this shit? There's no way domestic abuse is actually THIS prevalent this day and age. My mother was never hit by my father, none of my friends had their moms beat by their dad either. I'm a little bit older, barely by like three years than the people in this class, and I'm just seeing this as fucking weird.

YouTubes algorithm for selecting videos to be placed on the trending page are based on views, likes/dislikes, and comments.
This video https://youtu.be/z1ac7Zblqyk was placed at #1 on the trending page despite it being under 50K views with votes and comments disabled. YT has over a billion users, so with that many eyes it'd make sense to use it as a platform to push narratives. What are (((They))) getting at by placing this where everyone will is basically forced see?
I've seen this kinda thing before but I want to know if anyone else has noticed it.
