Watch Jeremy Shafer's tutorials on YouTube. But use that preimum origami paper from am art store. Don't be a cheap jew and use that printer paper it's a waste.

I entirely disagree. You're going to be able to get a piece of printer paper anywhere you go and will always have paper to make something out of if you can fold with it. It's great for practicing models without wasting money on nicer origami paper that won't be any better for a novice than readily available printer paper.
