Hey guys I found this, I plan to retrace and make it in paper or maybe in wood with a laser cutter,
but before, I would like to know if someone already did it, so I can save time

If you only have this picture you need to straighten it in photoshop or something which wont be so easy,

If you retrace you have to consider the thickness of the wood (or the paper) and redesign the slits where the pieces would stuck.
I'd advise you to take on another project, if you are not really a pro on this.
