Hi /po/. I've folded paper cranes, hearts, and ninja stars to deah, and most other tutorials out there are too advanced for me. Any have a recommended origami fold (fairly easy) for a beginner looking for variety? It can be anything, as long as it's simple!
Self bump. I'd appreciate suggestions.
Not too advanced and super fun to fold https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGqZgbKEPkU
Also, check out flowers and some modular origami (kusudama) stuff as well. Modular stuff is usually super simple, but somewhat time consuming

Wait so people actually browse this board?
Nice paper cranes man.

Hey thanks, I appreciate it!

(OP here) Yeah. Traffic here is certainly very slow, but people definitely do come on here. There are threads on the front page from over a year ago though, which really says a lot about how inactive this board is. Also, ot, but many are saying to rename this board to /pao/ (papercraft and origami) instead of /po/ so people don't confuse it with the drastically different /pol/

8-sided transforming shuriken
Boomerang
Ball/balloon
Spikey ball
Rose cube
Really if you want to do this and more check out Rob's World on YouTube. His older videos were mostly origami, not sure what he does anymore. I've been out of origami for a while.

I love the koi dollar bill

but it's certainly not for a beginner, even more if you intend to fold it from an actual dollar bill.

Please don't, I love clicking over here by accident.

It'd certainly be nice to get rid of the couple of /pol/ shitpost threads are posted and deleted every day.

i don't think renaming the bord would be a solutions. The shitpost threads are pretty obviously intentional. I mean the boards are not the same color and /pol/ have a pretty distinguishable sticky.
1.) Paperhat
2.) Boat [starts off the same way]

I have some fairly simple originals. They were posted in some other threads a while ago but they appear to be gone

Modular origami is the way to go. Even simpler than the traditional crane.
