Yeah they probably do. I have my monitor on a low brightness setting most of the time too so they probably are much louder on everyone else's screen than mine lol.

Nope. To me it looked like some sort of parasitic sea dwelling vegetation. I honestly have no Idea what it is as I've never seen the stuff before. But I'm pretty sure It was all dead whatever it was. It was very fragile and crunchy. You could walk on it and leave a footprint.

Yeah, I liked those two because of the colour and texture, but not so much the composition. That was the best I could be bothered to do with the images I had. I might attempt cropping them another way and see If I can improve them a bit.
