Any polaroid users here? Why is the ejection flap slamming so hard on the photo? its creating damage spots on every single picture

bump
This doesn't look like a case of something hitting the print as it's ejected. This looks more like bad film. I shot a bunch of thoroughly expired Polaroid film a few years back and got these sorts of results where part of the chemicals have just crystalized or something so they don't develop the image.

Should I call impossible project and complain? This is new film

If it's new film, then yeah.
No hope. I've shot many packs (expired and new) which all have had discoloration and distortions. I sold everything I had and will probably get the new lomo Instax camera which shoots square format. It'll probably be better quality and cheaper aswell.

It's the rollers that push the emulsion, not enough pressure in the SLR 680s and such. There was this thing you could to, pushing down on some part of the camera while it was feeding our the film, can't remember what though

Well it's a good start. thanks

No problem!
Remembered more, see picture. Try to push down on those parts while taking the picture (I usually pushed down with an additional picture while pushing the shutter button) and keep pushing, not hard, while it ejects the picture.

Yes, if I remember correctly. Not hard in any way, just downwards while ejecting the film :)
