How can I be less scared of my AE-1 out of my collection my AE-1 is my least used becuase I always fuck up or all the photos come out too stiff.
Let me explain I shoot point and shoot candid photo diary Nan Golden type stuff and the AE-1 doesn't seem to fit into that but I always see everyone using it and just popping it off like it's nothing. So how can I be less scared of it or is it just that it simply doesn't fit into my style?

idk what you are trying to say. How can you be scared of a camera? are you scared of using it or something?
sounds like you lost ability to use manual functions. smash that point and shoot before you lose it!

I got the Ballad of Sexual Dependency. At first glance, they are well-composed snapshits. I started getting into it once I realized that the characters were recurring and the order of the photos imposes a narrative. I started to wonder about the people, you know? Like, why did Susan move to Berlin? Did Rob ever stop beating his wife, or is she just wearing more makeup now? I don't really get that same experience with Ren Hang or Robert Mapplethorpe, the two other photographers I look at the most. Their works do well as a series of individual frames, but hers works as a body of work with a story.
Which photographers do you like?

Then again, all my friends are addicts, gays, and whores, so maybe the story is just more interesting to me in general.
