Hey, I just sold my camera and was wondering if sony SLT cameras are reliable. Im coming off from selling my eos 20d which had more than 300k shutter count and have a little more than 200 dollars to work with.

They have a great bang/buck ratio if you shoot sports or video. Some have had shutter issues but I didn't encounter anything on my a57. Your budget will fit that one or a58 if you shoot stills only. a68 is just above your budget. For 250 you really can't afford to be picky about camera lifespan.

I actually ended up buying a Nikon D5100 with a shutter count of 2,000 with warranty I realized sony was not a great option, All i need is a lens

A Sony EVF from 2012 is still better than most EVF from other manufacturers today.

35 1.8 wouldve recomendend that for the sony too.
