the subject is lost when your trying to capture the sky. There's barely anything there. Step back and do a long shot if you're trying to capture the background as well. Otherwise, crop at the crotch area, if not higher.

As for the pose, someone has mentioned it that it is a feminine pose. A simple google of male poses (doesnt have to be a model either) would do the trick. Try having his arms behind his back and feet apart, both pointing at 45 degrees. Looks like he's a farm boy, give him a tool or something. Make it natural where he is/ or who he is

Be careful of your horizon line as well, it's chopping his head.
