This was taken on a $15 Vivitar 135mm 2.8 shot at f/8 and it really is a great lens even when it isn't stopped down. The minor spherical aberrations would make it great for a portrait lens.

Forgot about the Rokkor 85mm f/2, this was taken on it at f/2. Liked how the tomatoes in the bottom right corner look like they're growing in a string as they blend into the bokeh.

Really great lens with great bokeh and color rendition, might post some color shots if I feel like doing the editing.

Thank you f a m. The Minolta Rokkor 50mm and Vivitar 135 really blow me away in monochrome. They outperform my Fujinon glass for the most part except the Fujinon 60mm 2.4. Wish I had the optics of the Rokkor with the autofocus and native compatibility of a Fujinon.

For the AF version, however, the 50mm 1.4 is sharper than the 1.7.
