I do own an amazon basics bag but I found very quickly that sticking a tripod onto the side of it is a quick recipe for shoulder pain on even the simplest of walking trips, military style bags are pretty rad for their mounting systems and I'm excited to buy proper bag inserts at some point in the future.

Also please don't make fun of my tripod I broke my dic and my mom thoughtfully bought it for me as a replacement.

yea seems strange right? This is the 5th bag ive owned as i continue to pick up more and more work that require more gear. (lenses, external flashes, triggers, and things for shooting video as well like a shotgun mic, variable output LED cluster light, and handheld gimbal). I've had a couple Tamrac bags that were pretty good, but I felt like they never utilized the space of the bag efficiently enough. The best part about this AmazonBasics bag is that they werent trying to be clever with specialized compartments. They just filled the space with customizable velcro dividers. Now I can fit my body(with a battery grip), 4 lenses, 2 external flashes, remote triggers, my BlackRapid strap, and a handful of other misc items. I've had it for about, 3 weeks now and I am pretty damned happy with it this far, especially considering it was only $50 US!
