What do you guys think about eclipse photography? Im thinking about just driving to the coast where everyone is crowding and documenting the people and the traffic.

Wyoming DOT shut down the whole state to oversize loads for the eclipse. Every hotel has been booked in the whole god damn state for that day.

Luckily for me it is in the later part of the afternoon here in SC. Granted it will still be high in the sky, but with a wider lens should be able to swing it.
Truthfully though I will be glad when the eclipse is over with. Even though I am an astronomer I am so over the total hype over it. It is a shame when they dog something good so bad it becomes annoying.
