What do you have now and what do you want?

I have a D90 with 18-105mm kit lens. I want to fix my grandpa's old Ricoh SLR and buy a 28mm lens for it and buy a Ricoh GR
Keep in mind the vast majority of pictures being taken by people who would deem you cool are being taken with a cellular telephone. Anyone with a DSLR is a wannabe professional. People with a film SLR are hipsters. People with a digital point'n'shoot are behind the times. Ultra-zooms are perverts or wannabe private detectives. Taking pictures of strangers for reasons other than online ridicule with facebook/instagram friends are creeps or weirdos.
Photography isn't cool unless your showing it to friends on instagram/facebook or you've struck gold and got a picture like this
