Even Rawtherapy and Darktable needs 16Gb ram to run decently

Unless you're working with very high resolution pictures, medium format stuff, RAM won't be a problem.
It's likely that it won't be a problem even with those, I work, meaning I literally work to gain money, with C1 on an old computer with 3GB ram.
What you need is a better processor really.

Oh shit, he's falling for the meme.
You also have a Nikon Df right?
>>
>>3135412

yup and love it

falling for the retro meme would have been Fuji X* mirrorless, Leica anything or Lolympus OMD.

Nikon Df is full-blown jumping out of a perfectly-good airplane into the freefall abyss of hipster cameras, except it has a better sensor than literally 99% of all of /p/ and can actually natively mount retro glass without modification which is something the other aforementioned cams have trouble with, and the one that does costs as much as a fucking decent used car. God damn right I'll own up to the retro meme. Nikon hit the nail on the head with the Df the only real complaint I have is the battery doesn't hold up to the job of repeated long exposure so you have to carry a few spares in your pocket for astro or anything of the sort.
>>
>>3135781
>and can actually natively mount retro glass without modification which is something the other aforementioned cams
Lol you're actually a retard
>>
>>3136059

>fuji and lolympus need chink adapters and have babby sensors so you don't get the same field of view the lens was designed for
>hipster cams with no OVF
>leica costs as much as a Soviet housewife

????
