Hello /P/, this school year is almost over and i'll be finished school for good, next year i'm looking to kickstart a career in video editing within the TV/film industry. My question is how would i go about getting a career in this field living in Sydney Australia. Would my best option be to goto uni and achieve a bachelor degree? Please help me out . IK this it not related to this board but only place i can think to ask without being ridiculed

Whelp, prepare for ridicule. Not from me though .
I know someone who is currently making their way into the industry after a degree in something vaguely related. They were excellent at networking at uni, never turned a job down and work long hours. It's tough, but possible and you should be looking for connections right now.
Lots of people are trying to do it. You have to be hard working and sociable, or just better than everyone else.
