How do you guys best deal with ISO?
>>
Shoot at iso 6400, and say you're shooting film

People will love it, the more noise the better
>>
I am trying not to limit myself to only 800 and up.
>>
I have conflicting feels. I usually go for low ISO but some great photos I had were from high ISO
>>
>>3125846
I enjoy high iso because I think digital photos look like shit desu with you senpai
>>
>>3125846
personally, I love grainy/noisy shots
>>
I use the ISO that is appropriate for the exposure I want. What kind of question is this? Do you have a favorite ISO or something?
>>
>>3125945
Sounds like he doesn't know how to use it

You probably like high iso because it reminds you of film grain.

is it normal for indoor portraits to use high iso even if you have an external light source

digital noise is so fucking trash, just look at that. its like they took the pic at iso 100 and then plastered over some stupid white noise effect. so unorganic. thats why film rules, and digital droolez.
>>
>>3126037
Kai said it was because he was too much of a dumb shit to actually use the lights and instead used sunlight from outside

Noise really isn't an issue until it starts seriously effecting image quality. Grain is a natural quality of sight even with people, who cares it a photo has a bit of it? if your photo stumbles because of noise then it was probably shot anyway
>>
>>3125846
To deal with noise at high ISO I usually use Sony
>>
>>3127914
I second this
>>
>>3126084
No one cares about film. If digital is so shit stop using a computer to look at digital images
>>
I don't deal with ISO because I have a man camera that can do 12,800 without looking like a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.

Don't use a shitty camera?
>>
what's a good portable tripod to use for low light, longer exposure shots for travel? I was thinking of the Sirui t-025x or t-005x, but I don't know if it's stable enough for an aps-c sized dslr.
>>
High ISO noise > 1/8s blur > missed focus wide open > no picture at all.
>>
>>3128029
do yoga 5 times a day for 3 hours to master your body. It will help you train your muscles into a finely tuned steady tripod. I've been doing this for 4 years, and I can hold a m4/3 camera with a 400mm lens, iso 50, f22, for 2.5 sec, and it's perfectly clear like you wouldn't fucking believe

Git gud fag
>>
>>3127962
you are literally the most insufferable trip on this board, and that's really saying something.
>>
>>3125846
The© Sony™ A6000® barely has any noise at 3200 and is perfectly usable at 6400
>>
>>3126836
Is that in Zurich?
>>
>>3125846
I never shoot anything above ISO 100. Anyone who does is a racist, homophobe who voted for Trump.
>>
>>3128034
>m4/3
>ISO 50
good laugh there mate
