i see this complaint all the time and it seems people have massive misconceptions about who the camera is for:

basically they're not consumer products. they're not marketed to he general public because they're designed to be operated by a team of professionals.

they can afford to sell them at such high prices because the only demographics who should consider them are production companies and rental houses

if you're an individual purchasing a cinema camera you're most likely a DP who buys it because it makes you more valuable as a shooter, and then you make your money back on it by either charging productions you're on to use it or by renting it.

also, getting mad over them selling all the parts individually is senseless because even if they did, no one who's actually in the market for a cinema camera would do it because the needs of productions vary so drastically
