Should have bought a Sony instead fambam
report back when you have photos from it.

A Holga with a sharp lens? Could be interesting if the vignette doesn't skyrocket.
>>3124734
yo that's my favorite lens
>>3124734
does it focus on infinity?
how you gonna focus that thing
half your image is gonna be nothing
i guess making 50% of the image useless is what you buy a holga for anyways
>>3125931
I didn't notice this was the 120 holga. Op, explain yourself.
>>3125931
image will be fine, just a bit vignetted. stop freaking out.

>not suny a7

>not fooji
>not even eos m
Use a teleconverter to increase the image circle for 120. This kind of shit is pretty cool.
>>3125984
>implying it will even focus.
>>3126195
if the fucking faggot aka OP used a grounded glass to calibrate infinity, then it will focus pretty well. maybe its your 1st week with cameras and you dont know shit about any of this?
>>3124787
I will
>>3124807
I tried to light seal it the best I could to avoid that as best I could.

I have to admit I don't know exactly what you mean but the lens focuses just fine on my x700. My plan with this is mostly to take long exposure panoramics on 35mm so leaving it on infinity and not focusing it is fine for me.
>>3125949
I took apart an old xgm I had that was dead and took the mount from it and epoxyed it to the front of a holga that I took the lens off of. That's the short of it. I waiting to shoot so I can use a 28mm but my coworker borrowed my 28mm and has yet to return it so I'll probably shoot it today with the 50 on there

>I have to admit I don't know exactly what you mean but the lens focuses just fine on my x700
i literally cried.
>>3124734
The lens has to be an exact distance from the film in order for it to focus. How did you verify this?
>>3126403
he didnt, he just slapped minolta mount on holga
>>3126316
>but the lens focuses just fine on my x700
KEK. Do you even know why the "normal" focal lenght for 6x6 is 80mm?
>>3126239

How you gonna scale focus a 50mm at f/1.7
It would only be useful stopped down at close focus, that's the only way the image circle will be big enough. Stopped down at infinity will give a hard circle covering most of the frame. Wide open at any focus will just be a big blurry circle in a small portion of the frame.
>>3126742
It won't even focus to infinity because of the flange distance.
>>3124734
you realize that this lens won't expose a whole 120 neg right?
the lens coverage isn't big enough
>>3126316

If you'd spent 15 minutes in a library with an old photography book you wouldn't be so clueless.
>>3126239
>if the fucking faggot aka OP used a grounded glass to calibrate infinity, then it will focus pretty well
You underestimate his power.

breddy gud for a bait thread
