I've been taking walkings and wandering through Santos downtown in Brazil. I'm discovering this place actually, there's still some places to go.
Using this thread to dump some of the photos and snaps I took.
About tech and gear: It's all a D700 + 35mm1.8 with a Kenko R81 filter attached in it. SOOC B&W

Santos is the major port in South America. I'm planning to take some snaps of it with a friend, I'll be uploading it in here if the thread didn't die

Also Santos is known as a city for 'old people'. Here we have a good variety of museums. From Coffee to Pelé. This one is from the Coffee museum.
Coffee was very important for the city and the country, back in late 1800's and early 1900's, before US stock crash.

Another from the museum.
The building used to be the Coffee stock market until late 70's.

and if you think we aren't a developed country, here a photo of a city train!
btw it's only for tourists. Our train is called VLT and is pretty modern, but far from our downtown.

you don't need to be homeless to take a nap while waiting for the bus.
about the crop: I like 2.38:1 crops, I don't mind it is 'cinematographic'. It's a aesthetic I like and find very useful

This one is oretty nice. One thing I'd do if I were you, is probabl lower the contrast just a tiny bit and raise the shadows.

We're more than one person who think your photos are atrocious dude.
Like, seriously, did you think a single one of these was worth posting?
They're not even fit for the recent photo toilet.

At least I make you feel something and made you 'bump' my thread. Thanks

Seems like a waste to walk around a country as colourful as Brazil and only take black/white
>>3120230
our downtown isn't that colourful tho.. A walk close to the sea and you can see more colours and more people.

I just wish you would 'fuck off'
Photos are a bit too dark for my taste. You got pics of some nice buildings yet you can't see them very well. I'm gonna agree with the other anons and say color would be a huge bonus.
