It looks like it was cloudy. Cloudy days make images like this flat. There's no separation between the tower and the rest. Plus you have this scaffold shit going on (not that you can do much about it besides cropping).

The whole pic is a bit washed out, I'm guessing it was cloudy that day. It's an easy fix in Photoshop/Lightroom though, best edit is >>3118431. You needed to make the yellow of the tower pop a little more so it stands out from the background.
But also compositionally it's pretty bad. The balance is poor, the tower (which I'm assuming is the subject) seems pushed off to the side. I'm not sure if it's as shot or cropped but if it's cropped you should change it so the tower centered on the left line (talking about rule of thirds).
Also edit the red on that scaffolding out. It's an eyesore
