Since this is the best place to ask about camera's I'd like to get some Idea's on an action cam setup for my motorcycle helmet. Rather than sticking a camera like a gopro on the outside of the helmet which looks retarded, disrupts airflow, and can be dangerous, I want to mount a camera inside the helmet. So far all I can really find are the runcam or mobius which can be set up with an extended lens cable to remote mount the sensor and lens, there is a gopro version, but the cable alone is $140 and is too bulky. Are there any cameras better suited to this than the Runcam 2? anything with higher resolution, or framerate?

Why on the helmet instead of on the bike? Mount it right over the front wheel.
>>
>>3115469
but then it would't be pov, plus you'd ruin the FOV of the camera if you mount it inside the fairing far enough that it doesn't interfere with suspension

Mount a gopro on the side or on your chin if it's too dangerous to be on the top
>>
>>3115407
The sony/countour/etc action cams are much more streamlined than GoPros, perfect for motorcycle use. I have mind mounted on the side of my helmet, sticks out less than an inch

TOP KEK
lrn2 ride son.

schumacher was all fucked up, potentially from a gopro, but the evidence so far has been inconclusive whether the gopro was the fault of his coma.

What is even the point of putting a v8 on a bike?

the pinnacle of bike design is a 500cc 2-stroke engine.
>>
>>3116326
a v8 is a fairly well balanced engine design and as such it can rev to very high rpm's with less instability than other piston arrangements that engine revs to 15,000 rpm which is quite the accomplishment for a 1L engine made by such a small company.

That's not even a "real" v6. It's a baby v6 with baby displacement. Boss Hog on the other hand...

>>3116331
Except for the arrhythmic piston firing order, but sure thing guy.
>>
>>3116332
>arrhythmic piston firing order
that actually improves the mechanical balance of the engine, from having the crossplane crank.

that bike has a flatplane crank though like a ferrari

Go pro or chink clone on chin. Why even bother asking?

because I thought maybe someone else had a clever solution

/o/ might be some help, inbetween the GTR vs. Corvette circlejerk, if you still haven't found one.
