Yeah film, this roll I used Fujicolor 200, and pushed it one stop to 400 ISO. Gives you good contrast but you lose some shadow depth in the developing.

The poses of the people ruins it imo. Not interesting / involved enough with the overall scene to make their inclusion add anything. Just makes you look too lazy to shoot the landscape in a way that omits them from the frame.

as much as i like landscape photography, i haven't really developed enough of an eye for it to do the scene up there justice, so i figured it'd make more sense to actually have people in there so there's a more clearly defined subject.
that said, i understand your criticism about their lack of involvement with the scene, but it was getting dark pretty quickly at that time and we still had to make it back down the mountain, so conditions dictated a photoshoot not be held right then.
i agree that better interaction with the scene would improve the composition and i recognize it as a more of a snapshot, but i like how it ended up coming out. if you have any tips on getting this sort of improvement under these time/lighting constraints, i'd like to hear about them.

Added little contrast, cleaned spots/dust and cropped it so the frame is filled better (guy on rightis cut off anyway), so the interacting subject is placed better in terms of composition. Still, she has a pole growing out of her head and there's no way for this to become a good shot.
If you get that feeling, ignore it.

I actually like the structure of this photo even though I typically hate human photography. I just wish there could be slightly more focus on the area around the woman and I believe that the woman would be better left uncolored and what she is looking at colored.
