Here is the thing if you're going to do that kind of thing. You have to be very in tune to composition. The edge of a building against a sky isn't enough.

>Where do the subtle lines of the building lead your eye?
>Are the important pieces along a third?
>Is the exterior of the building interesting?
>Does the color scheme flow with the things around them?

I'll be honest, that building is just boring. However, I would shoot it portrait, let the point/peak rest on the upper third, and avoid shadows, like the shadow on the bottom right, it doesn't add anything. It looks out of place.

Maybe I'll think of more advice if you want it.
