Wow, those are some great photos.
Especially number 5!
Do you have blog or something?
>>3113448
Yea, kind of. Some times semi active with it and sometimes not.

(word of warning: a lot of stuff that has no artistic/aesthetic value)

the composition is nice but i dislike how it's clearly photoshopped. long exposures of rivers are kinda meme now, i think it's likely the original shot of the rower would be way more interesting, but nice attempt
>>3113322
very nice colors on this one, dig it
>>3113349
the idea is nice but i would personally shoot with way way more room on the top of trees, this way it looks very awkwardly cropped
>>3113355
this one is nice too
>>3113315
I would be proud of this one mate
>>3113322
This is nice op. No matter how hard I try I can't get shots like that where I can see the beams of sunlight coming down through the clouds. They never look like that anyway.
Minimalism would like you. I'm not a fan of the style though. Except maybe 6.

Hmm that river shot was something I was hoping to get some opinions on, since I have not seen this kind of combination shots done too much / well. For those stopped river shots with similarly loose framing are a bit too hectic in my eye. Close ups work well, but then again felt like trying to find something different from this. So this one would please your eye more?

They are like unicorns, but maybe a bit less elusive.
>>3113346
They're all good except this one.

personally, yes, 10x more, for sure. i love seeing the ripples in the water and seeing a moment fully "frozen" like that. it makes the scene seem way more dynamic. i don't think long exposures of water really go with kayaking or rowing or whatever it's called because it seems like quite a fast paced and hype activity. A long exposure of water that makes it look "soft" to me does not at work with the action that's being presented in the picture. but they're your photos in the end so if you think the shoop looks better do that.

ofc I do what I want. I'm just interested in the way other people view the shot and the context in general.Thank you for providing one detailed explanation why you feel the way you do about the shot.
>>3113548
What are you talking these with?
>>3114226
you're welcome, keep shooting mate!!!
>>3114226
Just chiming in to say I agree with >>3114164 for the same reasons. Long exposure water shots combined with fast-paced kayak action clashes in a way that screams 'I shooped the fuck out of this' not to mention the water around the kayak itself looking quite different from the rest of the stream.

thx for the input on this issue. This stream and kayak pic I mainly put out here as an experiment to try and figure out a way to improve the concept. I strongly feel that there is something going on with the display of the movement in this concept but I really have not figured a way to produce the results that I would really like even my self. Tried removing all the water splashes around the kayak = did not feel too great for me at that point. Then this version of experiment is the best so far... Any ideas or suggestions?
what are you shooting with?
