I'm fairly new to photography
I don't really want to buy lightroom as I don't take that many photos.
I'm wondering what you guy's use/used that you found helped out the most.

Digital Photo Professional 4 is Canon software that comes with most DSLR cameras and such. It can also be downloaded off their website with a valid serial number. Good for basic adjustments on RAW .CR2 files and will edit any JPG/TIFF file. Something I use a lot for my Canon images.
GIMP is probably the best all around free image editor.
Affinity Photo tries to be similar to photoshop and lightroom, with decent success. $50 up front and it's yours.

You don't buy it, you rent it until the end of time. But you can always pirate it.

Tried many but light room is the best IMHO. Are you a student or something because sometimes you can get it really cheap through your university
Rawtherapee is pretty good if you can figure out all the weird technical shit.

I have to second this, and suggest GIMP for more involved editing.
Just curious, what are your thoughts on Adobe Lightroom for Android, guys?
Is there a big difference between Lightroom and Photoshop? I've only used the latter since forever.

This
Alternatively use Gimp, it is basically photoshop but free. It has a terrible UI and isn't user friendly like photoshop is.
GIMP is the best free ones, although you may find that you will find a wider selection of free photo editing software by strolling through your phone/tablet's app store. Stuff like VSCO, for example.
hey phaggots

I'm certainly no expert, but I like it for quick edits. Has a bunch of stuff I'm still learning to use and think its absolutely worth having on your phone

GIMP with a preset called G'MIC is literally god-tier edititing. It's free and easy to install and will run on anything,
pixlr is a good web browser for photoshop never used gimp tho
