Grainy images occurred on my Canon 1000D and i'd like anons opinion if this is due to dust collection or did i just fuck my settings up.

It's not grain those are stars nigguh, and they're all over the place not just in the lower half of the picture.
The moon is pretty grain heavy though. But for a consumer level, decade old camera you shouldn't be surprised.
