Newbie at this. Taken with a film camera. Picture is of a bee and film was professionally digitized. Can anyone tell me if this is good or not? Or any tips, I really have no idea.

>Picture is of a bee
If this is what this photo is about, then no, it's not a good photo. That "bee" takes up a tiny fraction of the frame, whereas the rest of the frame is useless flowers that draw away attention from the subject you really wanted to show.
I don't know what camera+lens you used, but I guess it lacks macro capabilities and you weren't able to get closer.

It does lack Macro. Thanks for the info.

If you didn't tell me it's a bee I wouldn't know what the fuck those black pixels were. It's a bad photo for sure.

why?

Thanks for the info.

a very easy way to sort out bad pictures is to look at the thumbnail. yours looks like a random pic of some random vegetation - extremely uninteresting. good pictures almost always have an already interesting thumbnail, as the big shapes and lights often direct the view and form the composition.

desu, this is prolly one of the better pics I took. Out of 2 rolls.

Get a decent macro lens if you want someone to see that bee. And probably a decent digital camera, it will be cheaper and easier to learn on and use even if you go for something more high-end.
>get a good angle
>close up on the object
>make sure your shadow isnt in it ofcourse
thats all i have
