Would this be a decent upgrade to my Rebel t2i?
I mostly just take landscape photos and I feel I could benefit from the megapixel boost.
Also I like the white color even though I have a feeling most people here will hate it.

Dunno yet, but it probably follows Canon's usual marketing strategy of making entry level cameras horrid. So currently I'd advise against it.
Get an A6000 or D7200 or 80D some other known good camera.
Why would you bother buying a new camera when it just launched? In two months the price will go down.
Instead get a used 5dm2
or a Sony a7 1
Or whatever Nikon is offering in terms of not so old full frame. You will benefit more from it in terms of landscape. This of course and at least half a decent landscape glass. The 17 40 from Canon are really cheap now. It's not the best glass, but a good starting option.
The 200d series is more of a second compact camera type of thing.

White stains very easy, especially on the field and with sweaty hands.
Also it turns into ugly yellow in a year due to UV exposure
>upgrading from a Rabel to a Rabel
kek
Will the 200D be the most compact DSLR?

No. The most compact dslr is a mirrorless .

>white
haha fagget
I own a 100d for traveling through Africa. I didn't pay a lot for it so I don't mind the problems with it. Which are the autofocus in the live view mode. Because the mirror is up in live view mode autofocus doesn't work properly. You should buy a mirrorless camera. Unless it comes really cheap like my 100d did. Because image quality is alright.
