Thanks, anon. I've been "looking" for a reasonably priced Fuji 645 for a few years, but haven't stumbled across anything yet. Still wouldn't fit in my coverall pocket, so wouldn't be as practical as my half frame.

I did shoot a lot of 120 on this trip, but some of it was very fucked by heat.

I don't want this thread to go completely /pol/, but yeah, I'd go to Iran again.

Of course the more authoritarian aspects of the government are quite problematic, like the censorship (no worse than many other Asian countries) and the modesty laws (yet Iranian women are relatively free compared to most of the Middle East apart from the need to wear a scarf), but I do think it's getting better, and I feel quite positive about the future of Iran. As do all of the Iranians I met, including the ones who remember the times before 1979.

Pic related is a girl I met on the plane from Teheran to Bushehr, who for a week took us around town to show us nice restaurants, visiting the Old Town Mosque when they broke fast (I was there during Ramadan), and night time swims.

I'm also happy to support a country that I feel has been unfairly ostracized from the rest of the world, and if I had to choose a horse to back in the Middle East it'd probably be Iran.

If you're going for photos, be sure to excercise caution. I had a really hard time finding motorcycles for rent, but I've heard it's quite simple to just buy one, and then sell it again before you leave, if you're up for a road trip, like many other Asian countries.

I think some of the photos are excellent and I enjoyed the set overall. There's too many photos though, and not all of them are good. You should hold yourself to a higher standard when you edit so you can have a smaller higher quality set.

How easy is it to focus with one of these? I've never used a manual focus camera but I want a half frame so I can fuck around and get more out of a roll of film. Lots of pen ee 3s online for cheap.

The one you quoted is shot on medium format. The Pen e.e.3 is fixed focus.
If you want to use a half frame to get more shots but still be able to have real control over your focus and exposure you should probably fork over the big bux and get a Pen F.

I know, like I said much of the film was rekt by heat and/or scanners. I've had a hell of a time editing some of these (pic very much related). I'll revisit some of them later and try to clear them up.

I dont get it.
The colors are fucked up.
The film got fucked up.
Some ISO is plain unusable.
Half of them have artifacts and even more are out of focus or i dont know if you are a BOKEH whore or shooting wrong or limitations of the camera.
I just dont get it.
Care to explain what are you trying to accomplish here?
