What's the purpose of photography? Film/digital/prints will eventually fade or be destroyed anyway. Why do anything at all if it's all going to be destroyed (10, 100, 1000 years or more from now)

palladium prints can live 1000 years.

film negs can wait 100 years before dev, and can come out pretty fine.
