It's a 5-speed car too. DOHC V6. Weighs nothing. Has no muffler either, so maximum bwaaaahhhh. I also have literally boxes aftermarket and parts including an ultra-rare Greddy SP2 complete exhaust for this specific model. Go find one for sale, I dare you. I've been around them for 10 years so I know all their quirks and specifics without having to Google it, so that's a plus. I did the timing belt, water pump and timing belt tensioner, clutch slave and clutch master cylinders without touching a keyboard. Same thing for the audio install.
The interior is immaculate, the cloth is practically showroom condition. The dashboard has no cracks, aside from the nightmare of mechanical problems I fixed thanks to the previous owner and the questionable shadetree mechanics who worked on it, it's actually a decent car now. I've been looking for a virgin model for a while that had no aftermarket and had never been modified and this one was it, and I was looking literally all 48 states and Canada, this one was 3hr away.

Yeah I know that, but I've always had an affinity for 90's sport coupes not just the Probe. As far as the FWD segment is concerned I have regarded the Probe/MX6 as the top of the segment, with the Integra Type-R and Corrado VR6 right behind it. The problem with the Type-R, is good luck finding one that hasn't been molested and if you do you'll forever have to worry about it being stolen. For the price of the Type-R you could get something much much much faster and RWD. And the coveted Type-R is a straight driver's race with even a stock V6 Probe; the 1st-gen turbo Probe would curbstomp the Type-R in any kind of straight-line acceleration test, by a wide margin. The R is probably marginally faster than my Gen 2 but costs 3 or 4 times as much as the Probe these days and if you sneeze on the Probe it has a reliable 300whp. Back in my car meet days with the last GT I owned, pic related, I remember seeing Type-R's at the meets and people would follow them home to try to steal them. Theft in Central FL with Hondas has gotten so bad, I have seen owners sleeping inside them with shotguns or chaining them up to light posts with a giant bike lock, and that ain't no shit.
The Corrado is faster than the Probe by a pretty good margin and the VR6 has a decent aftermarket but it's about as scarce and I don't care for the interior of it, not to mention all of the maintenance issues with 20-year-old German cars. The Probe, no one will want to steal it because it isn't a Honda. And pop-up lights are /o/ as fuck. Parts are cheap, and not just reman parts, original Motorcraft stuff from the dealer is cheap by comparison. It'll be a fun project, you'll see more of it here in the coming years.

This car walks a lot of those $5,000 pony cars out of the box and if not in a straight line, most definitely in the curves. Most of those Mustangs and Camaros in that price range are rusted and beat down pretty bad. They have a multitude of issues and stupid boomers want too much money for the decent non-ragged out ones.
