Just use your nice digital camera with a normal TTL flash. Not the weird converted film monstrosity.

You just need a flash with a PC port or use any flash with an PC-to-hotshoe adapter.

If you want a "german" made flash it's fine but you can get used ones for 20 bucks all day long or just buy a fucking nikon SB or yongnuo.

Don't forget the PC cable.
