I went out yesterday and tried out some new things, among which some different pp
It's nothing amazing but I hope the feel I was going for becomes a least a bit noticeable
Also the first time I went out around sundown and that made it quite a bit more fun, the light's very different than what I was used to
Tried to copy that one anon that gets these really nice industrial pics but I still haven't found the appropriate location for that

You're recognizing symmetry in scenes, which is good. The scenes aren't particularly compelling though. I also find the grass/weeds in the first two above really distracting, which is nitpicky, but maybe try either lowering the green saturation or seeing how it looks in black and white.

The composition is nice in this, but otherwise, same comments as above. When I look at this scene, my eye WANTS it to look cold. Not necessarily in WB temp, but in mood. The sunlight and the greens of grass give it a life that is otherwise at odds with the potential mood of the photograph.

Think I would've focused on the buildings, and not the net. At the end of the day, the net is a frame, but as its shot, its also the focus of the photo. It's a nice frame though.
Good work, anon. Keep shooting. Try to find the mood you want to show with these industrial shots. Is it a cold, empty feeling? Is it that buildings and machines can have a warm side? Think about those moods, and then think about how the lighting will effect them. Golden hour tends to warm things up.

yea, you pretty much confirmed a thought that I wasn't aware of, I kept trying to somehow make the grass less noticeable
I guess the timing of the day and the weather were almost the exact opposite of what I needed; maybe I'll go back on a more overcast day
black and white didn't work very well, or at least I like the bit of blue tint in the first few
on most of the others if I mess with the saturation they start looking way too artificial, but on this one it almost works
(I rarely mess with individual colors)
on an overcast day I prolly won't have the cloud problem either
