Guys, I found this yesterday on a flee market.
I bought it 20€ (22,5$) , but I realised that the mont was not an m42 mount, but something I never saw.
My question is this : is it an obscure mount I never saw or does this lens miss an adapter or something like that ?

Oh I get it ! But does anyone know what mount is this?
>>3089538
Loks like something similar the Tair 3s has, most russian tele lens were produced with an interchangeable mount that can be screwed off and replaced with something else.
It is possible it actually needs an additional adapter for cameras. Look for various T-mounts or telescope mounts, see if anything comes up.

sounds right to me, I just looked the lens, and there is tiny marks of "pointy screws" on the red cercled part. I'm trying to find this part somewhere but nothing shoews up. I might be able to build something that can be screwed on it

Look around on MF lenses forums, they might have a solution or a forum user can make a new mount for it, like with the Tair 3s.

OP here, looks like an KP-A/N Mount. I checked google, found two adapters, but bnoth are for Nikon, and I don't fucking own a Nikon. Still looking for an M42 adpater
>>3089538
looks like M39. get a M39 to M42 adapter then you can use whatever M42 adapter you need for your camera.

Nope, thanks, but that's definitely not an M39 mount.
>>3089575
your right its not. i checked my tair-3 and it looks like you are missing a piece.
maybe this will help

It's a T-mout
>>3089652
What's a mout?
>>3089668
Baby don't hurt me.
>>3089687
No more
It's a T-mount.
Common on telescopes and older catadioptric lenses.
I have several.

Thing about T mount on those bigger lenses is make sure you secure the three retaining screws really well, and never assume that you can support the whole camera/lens combination by the camera alone.
You pretty much want to screw them in as uniformly as possible, so the lens is centred, and so firmly that they actually bite into the mount a little. There may already be little screw point gouges (they often have pointed tips) in the lens mount, if so you might try to hit them with the screws in your new mount too.
In any case. screw them carefully and securely.
I recently had a friend ask if they could borrow a T mount till theirs arrived on the slow boat from china.... normally I'd be tempted to lend something like that which I rarely use... but as I said to him: "last time I put the mount on the lens I did so intending to never remove it again"
