I have a folder with more than 2000 images (lot of shit) but the problem is that they are 2 or 3 weeks old.
So i am waiting at least 1 month to start curating some more for the series.
Dont want to fall in "the gear doesn't matter" meme, there are obvious limitations, but its part of the style. At least its a good exercise, because you start focusing in things that maybe you wont with some other gear.

Before CMOS sensors, there were CCDs. The difference between the two has to do with how they measure the amplitude of light. CCDs accomplish a high sensitivity, low noise image, but at the cost of using over 100x more power (thus the shift to CMOS) making it hard to make big CCD sensors.

some of these are good, some of these are shit. you seem to have an eye for composition but not so much for seeing the flaws in your own technical skills. Slight camera shake really kills some of these images for me. I understand that's a challenge in low light shooting with a point and shoot but you need to recognize if you're shooting street and it's not very sharp then it's shit. You started the thread with some of the sharpest, in focus images and I imagine that it's because you recognize them as being strong.

Gives a sense of being in a seedy place without having to be there.

sometimes a part of quality control is just being harsh and accepting that ya blew it. Learn from it. You dropped your aperture and got the shot, but the 'moment' was gone. That fleeting moment is what will keep you addicted shooting and wanting to polish your skills.

I think you have creative talent, but I would suggest you hone that ability through study then apply when you're shooting or at home editing. Study art as a whole, study the great photographers, study their work flow, gain insight, progress your craft and challenge yourself until you produce something great and iconic. Study, you hear me?
