Over the weekend I took a lot of pics with my new a6000. I imported the photos onto my laptop, opened them in Adobe Lightroom, did slight editing, and then resized the picture to be small enough to post on 4chan. The problem is I can't post any of my photos because 4chan is saying my photos are embedded. I don't know exactly what this means or how to fix it. Can anyone help a noob?

Read the sticky. Also these all suck, and that's coming from another A6000 owner.
>>3086510
Aw thanks, I didn't see the sticky. Like I said I'm new, and this is just me playing with my new camera. This board is pretty dead and I'm starting to see why.
>>3086545
Christ, OP, I have no idea what's up everyone's ass in this thread and why they are being so rude.
>inb4 all the edgelords say tough love is what helps
No, support generally helps the best.
OP, you know your pics suck, which is important. Let's try to understand why and how we can move forward.
Firstly, most of the photos you posted have their horizons wrong. They're on an angle for some reason. This is an easy fix in lightroom, however. But it's best to get it right in camera.
Next, you're using full Auto mode. Which is hindering your shots in low light because the camera is making you shoot at 1/13 of a second while you try and handhold the camera.
Another problem is white balance. Plenty of your photos have the ugly yellow light which washes out all colours (especially your night photos).
But all of these are easily fixed in Lr.
What can't be fixed, however, and what is also the most important part of photography, is the subject/composition.
What are you taking a photo of? Why are you taking a photo of it? What is your photograph supposed to tell me? Am I being drawn into your setting? Can I smell the street from you photograph? Can I feel the intensity of the lightning from your picture?
Many of these photos have the building blocks of being good, but were missed.

Even though this is slow normie board, it is still 4chan. Go to Flickr if you want free hugs.

I pretty much totally agree with >>3086555
The most important question is "does it look good?". The second most important question is "What would make it look good?" and then go and shoot again and again and again, review your stuff, and get better.
just gonna check and see if mine resized correctly. Not OP but i have an a6000 too
>>3086573
i guess it did??
>>3086116
>Choma and a slow lens that forces you to shoot at a high iso aren't the problem
What?
"Why is this board dead?"
Snapshitters, and their circle-jerk protectionism.
This board is overwhelmed by pure shit.
>>3086557
>I don't understand the difference between 4chan's attitude and contributing to kill this board
>>3086557
>acting like an authority on other people's photos with no credentials and no accountability
>>3089723
>acting like the only reason people post their own photos here isn't so they can get better via well-reasoned feedback
The newbies here are fish in a barrel when it come to criticism, and anons with just the slightest bit more knowledge can't resist shitposting.
Oh, and:
